Krista's been inspiring young artists
for almost 12 years! She lives in Richland with her supportive husband, Joel, and two darling daughters.
When she gets the chance, her own work includes
acrylic paintings on canvas, murals for homes and businesses, hand-crafted jewelry, and hand-painted furniture. Still, her
passion is exposing kids to the joy art brings. Drawing, painting, sculpture and art history are all represented in her year-round
curriculum.
"Introducing young people to the world of art is very important to me," says Krista. "It
is what I was meant to do."
Krista is a member of the Allied Arts Gallery in Richland and served
on the Richland Arts Commission for 6 years; two as Chairman. She is a Community Based Instructor for Columbia Virtual
Academy and has also been an art instructor at Three Rivers Homelink for the past year.
