This year marks Krista's 10 year anniversary as an art instructor! She lives in Richland with her supportive husband, Joel, and two darling daughters. When she gets the chance, her own work includes acrylic paintings on canvas, murals for homes and businesses, hand-crafted jewelry, and hand-painted furniture. Still, her passion is exposing kids to the joy art brings. Drawing, painting, sculpture and art history are all represented in her year-round curriculum.
"Introducing young people to the world of art is very important to me," says Krista. "It is what I was meant to do."
Krista is Chairman of the Richland Arts Commission. She is also a member of the Allied Arts Gallery in Richland.
